About Lynn Terry
I'm best known online for my
Internet Marketing Blog and my
Low Carb Diet blog (where I also talk about my fun travel adventures). But there is SO much more to me than work, food & travel. Which is why we're here. ;-) So let your hair down and let's have some REAL fun! *cheers*
Hey Lynn,
Road trips are great! Looking forward to the rest of “our” day. LOL (awesome idea!)
I agree with your point about processing information while driving. I have always been amazed at how I could plan and organize during a say 30 minute or longer road trip. I loved how that worked.
I just sent out a reminder for our writing group that we get together on Saturday afternoon. This week we have two special guests to tell us about a writers event that will be taking place in our community on July 27th, A writers workshop and reading event followed by a social gathering.

I hope you are having an AWESOME driving to the city day!
smiles,
Nice! How’s your writing coming along, by the way?
Hey Lynn,
I just took notice that I don’t think I am getting an email notice when you post a new video.
Writing is moving along. I have my e-book planned out. Now to see if I can get it filled in . I will be starting on Sunday to actually put it together.
There are so many writing and art projects happening right now that I can get easily distracted.
The gallery is doing well with traffic and sales steadily increasing.
Thanks for asking.
I hope you are having an AWESOME writing session day!
smiles,
Good to hear!
Yes, I sent out an email this morning about that issue. Did you get it? I’m working on a fix.
So…how do you get the video setup so that it’s at the correct angle and doesn’t fall off? Can you take a video of what you do (LOL!)?
I use a Canon Vixia, see: http://www.clicknewz.com/3224/video-editing/
It has a flat bottom. I usually sit it on top of my macbook sleeve or my iPad (which has a cushy leather case) to absorb some of the bumps and keep it from sliding. Which works as long as there are no major curves or quick stops, lol.
Geez, just when we where about to learn about the rest of the day, the Video stopped. Plus the new theme has developed problems, not cool! Awaiting a quick fix to the latest problem regarding you Video Blog.
I’m working on it.
Next video is coming out within the hour!
I loved the description of your small town. I grew up in a place like that. Today I can’t imagine living very far away from where I shop (not that I like to do offline shopping, except for groceries). I enjoy having a home with a big wooded back yard where you can hardly hear the neighbors, but I like the conveniences of the city. Looking forward to the continuation of your road trip!
I don’t miss the traffic or the crowds in the city, that’s for sure! Something in between would be nice – larger small town, lol. And thank goodness for online shopping!!!
Here’s Part Two:

I live in a suburb outside Richmond, VA and it’s nothing for me to have to drive about 45/50 minutes one way on highway almost the whole way to get to one of our good shopping areas around the city… I don’t do it real often but I’ve grown used to it.
To get to our best friend’s house is 1/2 hour each way… just the way it is around a big metropolis where everything is spread out.
I don’t miss the city at all, for traffic or crowds, as I said earlier. But I do really wish there were more to do around here. Or that I lived somewhere that had more to offer socially.
Chattanooga is just about the right size for me. Especially if I shoot for the downtown area where most of the cool stuff is within walking distance.
