Yes, it’s true. I’m shrinking! But ohhh man does this ever open up a lot of new options in life! haha…
About Lynn Terry
I'm best known online for my Internet Marketing Blog and my Low Carb Diet blog (where I also talk about my fun travel adventures). But there is SO much more to me than work, food & travel. Which is why we're here. ;-) So let your hair down and let's have some REAL fun! *cheers*
I’ve not dated a lot, but I have had a range of heights. There are pros and cons like anything else. But I agree – seeing eye to eye has it’s advantages! Especially when dancing.
Aha, I see you decided to start monetizing the video site by advertising the new The Hobbit movie in advertising your shortness, when will we see your furry feet? 8p
LOL Tracy! It’s Adsense, so it’s targeted to you – or to the topic. haha. I’m seeing expensive handbags and blogging related ads. And my feet are very normal (if a wee bit smaller) thank you very much!
My drivers license says I’m 5’10&a half inches. When last measured I was 5’9 inches. But mine is probably due to age(early 70′s). So I too am shrinking, what was the title by Randy Newman “Short People” or something similar.prehaps this should be a possible theme song)
I have never heard of anybody of any age getting 2 1/2″ shorter before. I think I would have a doctor check me over big time. I suppose things like leg bowing and tightening of the spine can shorten a person some, but that’s pretty extreme. Maybe you should watch that old Lily Tomlin film, The Incredible Shrinking Woman (I’m sure you’ll stay incredible no matter what).
I came in a little late on your consideration about sharing personal stuff. I suppose I’m probably one of the few whose felt a tad uneasy listening to some things– not because it offends me but because I know you more in a business setting, I guess. You certainly gone into things I wouldn’t be comfortable with discussing online about myself. Still, a good mix of personal revelation with business interests seems to be the key to social media success. I’ve never gotten my head around it but I constantly marvel at how Twitter maestros like Felicia Day and Chris Pirillo do it.
Interesting point on the “personal stuff.” This blog is meant to be a totally personal blog – not a marketing strategy, by any means. Just a place where I can be myself (full on) on any topic – not just business. I didn’t have an objective with it, other than to have FUN and be myself.
Hey Lynn,
Are you saying that you are a self proclaimed short, dogie loving, freak magnet?
That should go over REAL nice on the dating sites. LOL!
But then, you’re OFF the market and why not? When you ditch a date for a Dane. It’s gotta be something SPECIAL…LOL! <3 <3 <3
Kidding, of course…
Loved the webinar. It appears to be an awesome course. Thanks! I am doing a writers digital publishing workshop on Saturday. Here is the link.

I hope you and Slim are having the most AWESOME of days hanging out!
Catch you short-ly in your BIG shoes…
LOL!
smiles,
LOL Gary! hahaha
Hey, who are you calling a runt? LOL.
Last time I checked, I was 5’5″, though now you’ve got me thinking I should measure myself again. ;-P
I’ve never thought of myself as short, but then I don’t think much about it until I can’t reach something on a shelf.
No reverse growth, unless you count weight loss.
What you are describing is something new to me.
In my time, I have dated men of all heights, including some as tall as 6’4″, which was a strain on my neck when walking/talking to them.
Though I don’t pick men based on height, I rather like being able to literally (as well as figuratively) see eye-to-eye with them all the time.
It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to come by, and check out your videos.
Glad to see you are still having fun here, and that all seems well with you, Slim, et al.
K.
Great to hear from you, Karen!

Hey Karen,
WELCOME BACK!!!
Really missed you’r comments. I hope you will be able to hang out more and comment regularly.
You make great comments and add much to the conversation…
smiles,
Gary
Girl you don’t get any sympathy from me, I’ve always been short!
You’re not short, Sherie – you’re petite!

I love that song

Yeah, but my shoe size too?! LOL…

Lynn,
Wow girlfriend, I had the complete opposite happen to me!
For years, as far back as high school, I was 5′ 3″ in height. However, somewhere along the way – over the last 10 years – I grew an inch taller! ROFL
Doctor now tells me that I am 5’4″ – go figure.
Alas, I’m still a short person, but happy all the same!
- Bonnie
Perhaps there is hope for me yet! LOL – Maybe I’ll have a random growth spurt and gain my height back. haha
Maybe it means you lost weight.
Yeah, I wish
LOL

Lynn,
When my mother shrunk she told my brother and I, “Gravity wins!”
Those of us who follow you know that your spirit of generosity and your talent have not shrunk a bit. Is Marmaduke is Slim’s hero.
Jerry
How nice of you Jerry – thank you!
I’m with Wade. I think I would talk with my doctor about the shrinking. That’s a little freaky. Hope it’s not a low carb thing!
LOL, nah – it happened long before I started eating low carb.
haha
