Tawnya Sutherland of VAnetworking.com is here in Tennessee for a visit, and we’re hanging out on the back deck – brainstorming and having a great time! :D

This is her first visit to my house, but I spent a week at her home in Vancouver last June. Besides that we’ve hung out together in Vegas, Colorado Springs, Atlanta and Victoria over the last year or so. I love my online friends, but even more so when we get to hang out OFFline. ;-)

About Lynn Terry

I'm best known online for my Internet Marketing Blog and my Low Carb Diet blog (where I also talk about my fun travel adventures). But there is SO much more to me than work, food & travel. Which is why we're here. ;-) So let your hair down and let's have some REAL fun! *cheers*

Looks like you 3 gals were having a swell time! Guess Slim was probably snoozing in the corner, watching a ball game and having a beer! LOL Bet the corn bread turned out great!

It turned out beautiful – she loved it! ;-)

Slim was laying on the ground, just out of camera range. Once you pet Mylah’s head, she’ll stand there forever and ever lol. She loves her head pets!

    Hey Lynn and Tawnya,

Loving that you all are having a GREAT time. :D

I just received Tawyna’s email saying that you had posted a video from your deck.

LOVE cornbread! I haven’t made any for way too long. Being in the South, do you have grits as well? That would be something a little different for a Canadian girl. ;) (cornbread and grits with grilled sausages yum!)

I find Tim Horton’s coffee way too strong and stopped drinking it years ago. I usually have tea whenever I visit Timmies.

I have a Fan Page http://www.facebook.com/lovemytimmies the picture is my local Tims.

I hope you both are having an AWESOME git’n the grand tour day!

    smiles, :)

Oh, grits – I haven’t made those in forever (especially since I’ve been low carb for over a year now, lol). I used to love a big grit casserole for breakfast, usually at Christmas or other holidays. Reminds me of my Grandmother…

We’re SO enjoying just hanging out and relaxing/brainstorming. Tawyna is winding down after long travel and a 3-day event. But I’m hoping to get her out to see Burgess Falls today or tomorrow – as soon as she’s rested and up for a good hike. ;-)

She’s A LOT calmer than Slim ;-) lol

Can’t wait till your next visit, Angie! Still hoping for a time when you & Kev can come down together. :)

Secret about the cornbread…I am awake here after 1am sneaking into the kitchen for another piece of cornbread with some of the grilled chicken chopped up with it. It’s my cereal bowl full of Tennessee love tonight. Besides someone has to finish it up LOL!

Love it here and having a much needed vacation.

Thanks Lynn for your warm hospitality and friendship :)

You’re most welcome – I’ve really enjoyed having you here! I had such a great time in Vancouver last summer when you had me up for a week. We’ll have to do this again soon – your place or mine. ;-)

Today we’re off to hike Burgess Falls! :D

Horrible, I might’ve missed the whole video! Loved seeing Mylah getting her head petted – it looks a bit like getting a massage.

I’ve never eaten cornbread either. One more thing on the list of things to try when I come over! :-)

She loves her head pets, lol. She’ll stand there forever as long as someone is petting, patting or scratching her. Such a sweetheart! :D

Cornbread walks and I going to beg Lynn for her Grandmas recipe. I forced her to make it for me as I’ve never had it. Here’s a pic of it of I on my Facebook, YUM!

So glad you liked it! :D It’s my grandmother’s recipe, with my own twist. I’ll have to do a video and share the recipe with everyone. ;-)
