Thanksgiving on the Southern Belle Riverboat

We had a GREAT Thanksgiving dinner on the Southern Belle Riverboat, followed by a one hour tour down Tennessee River. Fun times with my 15 year old “I hate your camera!” daughter. ;-) THIS is how I like to spend my “free time” when I’m not working. :D

I love this video! What fun going on a Riverboat for Thanksgiving. When the whistle blew and your daughter almost jumped out of her skin, the Captain “no texting while driving”, getting the people to wave – I loved it all. I’m going to share this one with my girls. They will love it. Your daughter is beautiful and she photographs well.
My husband and I went to a company Christmas Party on a local riverboat called the Catawba Queen at night. (Actually, it was the night we got engaged too!) We almost froze to death! :-)

Thank you Cindy! We were lucky that it was such a beautiful day, especially for late November here in TN. The weather was perfect! We had a great time, and they served a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner aboard the boat. We’ll definitely do this again in the future. ;-)

Ken and I have been talking about taking this Chattanooga river cruise for several years now – your video was just extra incentive! Very creative and well done too – we love your videos – keep ‘em coming!

Thanks, Sherie! I highly recommend it. Especially in good weather. It was a great time, and very reasonably priced!

That looks like soooo much fun! Glad you had a good time, good weather, good company, and good food…. can’t beat that… :)

I agree. :D My daughter said, “all the good foods… none of the drama” haha. Her favorite was playing darts & Wii on the top floor after dinner!

    H Lynn,

Great video! Your daughter was amazing to even allow you to video her at all. She reminds me of my oldest, Krista. “I hate your camera daughter” is VERY normal for girls i their mid teens. Krista will be 29 in February and she has a daughter of her own now. “Lily Krista” – 2 this month. Daughters are very special (I have two) and grand daughters are pretty special too.

She did stay mad at me for awhile over it :P lol… I had to promise no more videos. I told her she needs to make herself useful on the other side of the camera then, though. ;-)
