This is such an important conversation, Lynn. I was actually writing about this very subject, last night, some notes for myself about something. I love the concept of “embracing the process and letting it do it’s magic!” So true, no matter what our particular goal might be.
Lynn,
I think this is one of my favorite videos from you, and such an important attitude. You are so right. The refinement that happens when we walk through the fires and challenges of life, refines us, prepares us for something yet to come. Helps us touch others and make a difference for others. Embracing “the process” is part knowing that everything is temporary, and a new phase is yet to come. Our attitudes through the process make a big difference.
Great video Lynn! I really needed this today!
Hey Lynn,
The wisdom you impart here is dynamite! After 72 years of trying to get the “hang of life” I’ve discovered the value of being patient. We have our dreams, set our goals, and when results don’t happen overnight, we throw up our hands in despair.
Any goal worth going after is worth the sacrifices necessary. Life’s achievements don’t often occur on our schedules. The key is to stay the course, never give up, be patient and enjoy the ride!
Be well,
Jon
Hey Lynn,
Another awesome video! Thanks for sharing. Ain’t it the truth. LOL!
“LOVE where you are, KNOW where you are going and EMBRACE the process that gets you from here to there.”… Lynn Terry
I like to think of it as short term pain for long term gain. Unfortunately the converse can also be true. Short term gain for long term pain.
Sometimes when we act in the moment our decisions may not always be the best.
The result of action without thought can be painful for the long term.
I hope you are having an AWESOME driving and meditating day!
I LOVE that combination. I have had some of my best ideas while driving. :;
smiles.
Hello Lynn…
It is so compact and as they say it “anything that has a RECALL after you heard a song, an information and the likes…”
It’s EFFECTIVE in the sense that you can easily accept it and put into action! As you have said…. “Embrace the Process…”!
Oftentimes this is my problem and maybe most of us… when we start to read instructions after the introduction we jump to the last page and the result… far from Reality.
Let’s EMBRACE the Process and get the BEST Result that you wanted to have!
Have a Great Day!:=)
Thanks so much for this Lynn. This is exactly what I needed to hear. I’m focusing more on the Online portion of my business and the instant gratification part of me is really struggling with the slow results.
This video brought up the point that I knew on the surface, but didn’t understand in my heart until you brought it full circle here. These habits of list building, writing articles, and doing webinars may seem fruitless right now, but when done over and over again are building the habits to keep moving forward and creating something great.
Thanks so much!
I’m so glad you all enjoyed the video and the topic! As I look back over my life, particularly at personal growth and raising my children and growing my business, I find “the process” an amazing one. Dedication, persistence and hard work definitely pay off – in beautiful ways!
I’m also aware of how grateful I am for “the process.” As much as I love my two children now, at 16 and 21 years old, I’m glad I had all those years to *experience* them from start to now – as hard as some of those years were (lol). The same goes for my business, and for myself as an individual. Life is meant to be EXPERIENCED. It’s what gives us that deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for the results we do achieve…
*cheers*
Hi Lynn
Thanks for sharing that wonderful piece of advice. Yes it is a process. We sometimes forget that. Focus, persistence, patience and gratitude.
You are a true inspiration to us all. Thanks again
Ken
